About Unspoken Language Services

Owned and operated by interpreters. It changes everything.

ULS was built by people who have sat in the chair. That perspective shapes how we schedule, how we treat interpreters, and how we talk to clients when something goes wrong.

Who we are

Fifteen years of showing up.

Unspoken Language Services is a boutique interpreting agency serving organizations nationwide. We are not a call center with a directory. We are a working team of coordinators and interpreters who know the difference between filling a slot and serving a conversation.

That distinction shows up in the details. We ask what the setting is before we assign. We honor gender and signing style preferences where we can. We staff long assignments with a team because accuracy degrades without relief. We tell clients honestly when a request is hard to fill rather than leaving them waiting.

Over 15 years we have built a request fulfillment rate of 97% and maintained 100% contractual integrity. In the previous fiscal year our interpreters delivered more than 5,000 certified interpretation hours.

Our commitments

The Unspoken Promise

Four commitments we hold ourselves to on every assignment.

1

Transparency

Clear scheduling, clear rates, clear billing. You know what was requested, what happened, and what it costs. No hidden fees, no surprise line items.

2

Personable service

Real coordinators who know your account, answer directly, and follow through. You are not routing a ticket into a queue.

3

Community-driven values

We are part of the Deaf community, not vendors to it. That shapes who we hire, how we pay them, and the standards we hold.

4

Quality control

Interpreters matched by specialization and experience. If something is not right, we address it and make it right.

How we treat interpreters

Interpreters are professionals, and quality follows how they are treated. We pay fairly and on time, we give assignment details in advance so they can prepare, and we do not put people into settings they are not qualified for.

The result serves clients directly. Interpreters who are respected, prepared, and appropriately matched do better work in the room.

How we work with clients

We ask organizations to get set up before they have an urgent need. Setup is free, carries no obligation, and eliminates the vendor approval delay that turns a scheduling task into a crisis.

Once you are set up, requests come to one place, and your account history keeps a documented record of what was requested and how it was fulfilled.

No pressure. Just preparedness.

Get set up before you need us.

Five minutes now, free and without obligation, and the next request is simply a scheduling task.
